SI I&DT – Individual Projects (Project No. 10410)

SI R&DT

Project presentation

codil has already been injecting plastic using IML on flat surfaces since 2015, but the project being presented focuses on developing the application of IML technology (‘In Mould Labeling’) adjusted to round, curved and uneven geometries, essentially applied to surfaces with shapes and contours (in thin or thick thicknesses), within the broad segment of plastic household utilities, including cutlery, furniture and other items. In this sense, the project requires, on the one hand, the development of critical technological tools at the process level and, on the other hand, the development of two innovative products, both with curved geometries and IML application: a multipurpose box with a futuristic design and a multipurpose bucket with a curved surface.

Project start: Sep-2015
Project end: Feb-2017

Overall Investment Amount: €323,394.51

Eligible Investment Amount: €261,348.03
